What does PostAuth do?

How is it different from a sales CRM?

Sales CRMs start from leads, deals, and manual pipelines. PostAuth starts from authenticated product users. It uses auth sync, product events, sessions, payments, and AI follow-ups so product behavior feeds your next build.

How does PostAuth classify users into stages?

You can name your own stages and define the rules for each one. Users move automatically based on activity, sign-in recency, lifecycle behavior, or product events, so your segmentation stays current without manual tagging.

How does PostAuth work with my auth provider?

Connect your auth provider once with an API key. Through an initial sync and real-time webhooks, PostAuth brings in users and activity signals like signups, sign-ins, and profile updates, then uses that context to segment users and reach them at the right moment.

Which auth providers does it support?

PostAuth currently supports Clerk and Supabase Auth. Better Auth is coming soon, and additional providers will be prioritized based on customer requests.

How does PostAuth protect API keys, webhooks, and user data?

PostAuth never stores API keys, webhook secrets, or sensitive integration values in plain text. Secrets and stored workspace data are encrypted at rest, traffic is encrypted in transit, and each workspace's data stays scoped to that workspace.

Is the public leaderboard safe to use?

Yes. Leaderboard entries are stored separately from your user records and do not include individual user data. Listing your metrics cannot expose your users, and you can unlist your leaderboard profile at any time.

Yes. The Hobby plan is free forever and includes auth sync, the user context board, stages, notes, AI follow-up automation, click tracking, the rich follow-up editor, and the public leaderboard with 100 emails per month.

When do I need to pay?

You only need a paid plan when you outgrow 100 emails per month or need email receiving, connected inboxes, higher send limits, priority support, or watermark removal.

Do I need to set up DNS to send emails?

No. PostAuth assigns each workspace a unique slug, so you can send from slug@email.postauth.app without configuring DNS, SPF, or DKIM.
